HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hi friends of WARRIOR. We would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We have been extremely busy finalising all the red tape so that we are able to release the movie real soon.

We have some excellent news which will be announced on the site soon. We can give you an idea now by letting you know that we are finalising talks in relation to WARROR being released on the big screen in May. The Australian release may include up to 86 screens throughout Australia.

We are hard at work preparing the marketing and we will also be having a special screening in a few weeks at the KAPTOL CENTAR in Zagreb, Croatia where Director/Actor Steve Ravic, together with his fiancee Vesna will be guests of The Australian Embassy who will be organising the screening where Steve will also be leading a panel discussing Filmaking and Australian culture with the audience.

This event is part of an Australian Film and Lifestyle festival being held in Croatia's Capital and will feature Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander performances, food and wine and more including screenings of ten other Australian films with the special Croatian premiere screening of WARRIOR. The event will run across one week during Australia Day festivities. Steve is looking forward to representing his country of birth at this event in his ancestral Croatia.

STUTTGART, GERMANY

We would like to announce that there will be special screenings of WARRIOR in Germany and CROATIA in September and October. BANG YOUR HEAD festival fans and readers of HEAVY Oder Was?! magazine will recieve a special offer for a screening that will take place in Stuttgart in October. NEWS DIRECT FROM CANNES ON OPENING DAY

Dear friends, we are extremely proud to announce that WARRIOR the movie is having its premiere screening at the worlds biggest and most prestigious event for film, The 60th Cannes Film Festival, which promises to be the biggest ever. The world premiere is in the Palais on May 23 at 10pm. Click the following brochure to find out more:

A modest Steve Ravic (Director) commented, "It's so strange to be standing here on the red carpet surrounded by Papparazzi in their hundreds waiting for the big stars, and news cameras from all over the world litteraly every two metres doing reports. I'm just someone that grew up streets of St. Albans and now here I am in France amongst the biggest names in the world. I'm stoked! Thanks to the Australian Film Commission, we made it to Cannes for the film market, but then Cannes offered us a screening as well and now we are going to have our market premiere at Cannes."

It's a proud moment for all involved, especially Steve who sacrificed over two years of his life to complete a project nobody thought was possible. We all stood by him and now he proudly represents WARRIOR in Cannes.

NEIL WINS GOLD AGAIN

Second Unit Director and a Co-Producer of WARRIOR, Neil Johnson has just been awarded his third GOLD DVD for sales of the amazing NEW DVD of MANOWAR - Hell On Earth IV (The Day The Earth Shook). He has also been awarded GOLD for Part 3 and his first MANOWAR release, Part 2 (pictured). This to add to his accolades of Directing the No. 1 charting (mainstream charts) music video for MANOWAR - Warriors Of The World United.

Neil Johnson will be further enhancing the movie WARRIOR in Hollywood for which he was Second Unit Director and which he Co-Produced. Neil is extremely excited being a part of WARRIOR and this promises more future collaborations between Neil Johson and Steve Ravic who have been working together on numerous projects over the past ten years. Neil also recruited the services of Steve Ravic for the upcoming MANOWAR DVD which was filmed in Stuttgart in March of 2007.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: WARRIOR ROADSHOW

Metal Warriors is proud to announce the big comeback to event promotions since the filming of the movie WARRIOR with the ultimate festival event for the Hard Rocking fans of Australia. The festival will be called WARRIOR ROADSHOW and will take place in November 2007 in conjunction with the release of the movie WARRIOR.

Imagine an event with big named International bands, local bands, wrestling (including a barbed wire match), monster cars, meet and greets with the stars, hot women and nerds. This will be the BIGGEST Hard Rock/Heavy Metal event in Australian history.

ATTEND THE TEST SCREENING OF WARRIOR ON FRIDAY THE 13th AT THE ASTOR AND VOTE IN YOUR FAVOURITE LOCAL BAND TO APPEAR AT THE FESTIVAL.
